John Romita Sr., Unbelievable Wonder Craftsman, Kicks the bucket at 93
John Romita Sr., the respected comic book craftsman who co-made Wonder characters including Wolverine, the Punisher, and Mary Jane Watson, has passed on. He was 93.
His demise was declared Tuesday night on Twitter by his child, John Romita Jr., a fruitful comic book craftsman by his own doing.
"I express this with crushing sadness, my dad died calmly in his rest," he composed.
"He is a legend in the craftsmanship world, and it would be my distinction to emulate his example.
If it's not too much trouble, keep your considerations and sympathies here keeping in mind my loved ones. He was the best man I at any point met."
